A day retreat we will explore three fundamental principles of unfoldment - Ground, Uprightness and Space - and how these are developed and expressed through our human bodies.
Built by millions of years of evolution, our very own bodies offer us access to an inner "compass" that can reliably guide us to the fundamental intelligence, dignity, and beauty of the human person.
These three principles both reflect and inform our basic sanity, our capacity to move in the direction of wholeness, and our inherent freedom and potential. They can guide us to a life of alignment, truth and purpose. We will discover through guided gentle movement and meditation how to recognise and access these living forces of support and inspiration, in our bodies and in our lives.
This workshop is suitable for adults of all ages. Those new to the work will receive a skilfully guided entry to practice, through the body. Those with experience will enjoy a freshness of approach to deepen and illuminate aspects of your dedicated practice. Together we will bring the heart of practice alive in a grounded, accessible and joyful way.
